Called today. Recorded voice claiming to be from my broadband provider and they will be terminating my service due to suspicious traffic. Unable to disconnect the call till I had pressed the disconnect button several times and even after the voice stopped an obvious line was still open even though I could dial. If they call you ensure you have cleared the call before calling your Internet provider or use a different phone so they don't record your details.
Answered phone but silent
This number called and a recorded voice told me my internet service would be cut in 24hr and I need to press button 1 to get further details.I did not press "1", I have simply blocked the number.

Claiming to be offering me a guaranteed upgrade as a Three customer (I am with Three). Asked where calling from, but didn t get it. I said this was a cold call, my number is TPS registered and to remove from database, then hung up.
We answered this unknown number. Very odd voice. In fact sounded high Probably a wretched scammer

Dangerous number, avoid at all cost. Some none speaking English wanker trying to tell his name was Jack, but seemed to take him ages to remember his name was Jack. I think it's time to take matters into our own hands if the government will not put a stop to fraudsters. If you put the number into Google it tells where the number is located, maybe its time to petrol bomb ????these these CUNTS

It is a number for Waste Managed Ltd. They used to be Cheaperwaste Ltd. Terrible waste brokers in Newcastle. One to avoid so don't let them have your bank account number, or let them start a contract for you. There is a Facebook group, Cheaperwaste Waste Managed Unhappy Customers which reports terrible things.

Drumming-up business - they ve called several times now, usually when I m busy.
SCAM - automated call claiming that 'Due to unauthorised use, your internet will be disconnected' and to hold on the line to speak to a call handler. Caller with Indian accent claimed to be from 'Cyber Security Dept' that deals with security issues for all the service providers including BT. Starts by asking me if I have given my password to anyone and what devices I currently have connected. After giving her some bogus answers, I put her on hold and disconnected the call after 5mins. Definitely SCAM!
When I picked up I could hear the caller for a couple of seconds before they hung up. They never said anything, was only background noise
