I was called from this number this morning claiming to be from my bank. It was a recorded message and not a ‘live’ caller. I was informed there were two suspect transactions from my account and, if they weren’t from me, I should press 1 on my keypad. I hung up immediately, checked my bank account and saw that the transactions didn’t exist so I assume that this was an attempted scam.
Contacted me through Whats App, the message was.. "Large-scale recycling of USDT (No idea what that is?) The price is high, I will pay you first. There is no Risk. Please Click the link to contact me: wa.me/447478868892". I'm suspecting that this is some Bitcoin scam? Don't visit the site, could be a virus or something? Propably a scam, was telling he is calling from Crypto.com but english was really bad and I just don't believe they would call me from Crypto.com just to tell they have some new features? I said it was hard to understand him and he hang up...

Fraud Call centre, pretend to be "running security" for Virgin Broadband, call to say they have "seen problems on the line". When I told them I wasn't on Virgin, they waffle on about how they do the security for all broadband suppliers, because Virgin supplies the lines for them all. I told them I was on Grain, and then they just imediately hung up. Obvious fraud scam.

This number has been searched at least 1250 times, if not more. The POLICE are aware and need to identify these scammers, so the more it is reported the better the chance of catching them.
