PPI automated call. Will probably be followed fairly soon after with a call from a private number with some snotty nosed git who knows more about you than you d like. Don t engage them. If you do have a PPI claim print the form from the FSA website and send it yourself. Thats all these guys do anyway and they take 20% (or more) of whatever settlement you get.....

They called and asked if I had a credit card with Barclays and that they wanted to fill in some kind of insurance claim. I told them where to get off.

Attempted scam. Fake number, been called several times. "I am calling from BT, there is a problem with your Broadband Line". Do not talk to them, do not let them access your PCs.

BT Call Guardian blocked this call for me. Now adding to barred list

Called once, hung up on answering. Called back. Claimed to be AA Accident Care Team. Had no accident at all since driving. Never been with the AA! Bunch if scammers!

Claimed to be from the Credit Investigation Department and, when I told her that I had no outstanding debt, she hung up. recorded call tells you that if you have debts over ?10k you can get 70% written off then you are asked to press 5 on phone - presumably a premium rate number

Phones at least twice a day for a week. Nobody on the other end. Presume they are block calling and when the first person answers, the other calls drop out... ?
