SCAM Message popped up on my laptop stating that it was in danger of being hacked and had been temporarily blocked. The error message suggested I called a helpline (number stated 020) said to be Microsoft Security. I rang, lady answered (Indian/pakistan accent) lots of noise in the background, she wanted me to depress the windows and the letter R key on my laptop. was evasive when I asked what would happen. Presumably a cloned number Rude lady with foreign accent overriding my claim that we can't have a problem with openreach as we are with virgin fibre. Not sure what she actually wanted from us as I told her not to be so rude and she put the phone down.

I answered the first call. A guy with a heavy Indian accent began to describe a job opportunity before my mobile signal was lost. The same number has called me twice a day for the last 3 days. I ignored the calls and no message was left. Any reputable agency would leave a voicemail.

Received three calls this morning. First, claiming to be from BT calling about my internet service. Second, silence when I answer. Third, claiming to be from TalkTalk and claiming that my internet will be shut down in 24 hours and my internet has been hacked by foreigners. I requested their full name and received no answer. At 8.20am I answered my land line thinking it must be important and was a local number. It was a automated message saying ‘thank you for your payment of £299 for anti virus, if any problems please call our free phone number’ The number I’m afraid I didn’t get and it didn’t say any company either. I’m sure this is a scam of some sort that they catch you when you call to complain so very much aimed at the trusting, naive or elderly.
This number called my 12 year olds daughter’s phone saying something about a company She said her age and they did say sorry we shouldn’t have you on this list other people are saying it’s one of magnums call centres but i truly don’t know
They call saying there was an arrest guarrant against my name, for some tax fraud. Of course this is not true, then they put you on hold for the longest time. I finally put the phone down as I was worried I was getting hacked whilst on the line.

I had numerous automated phone calls from this number asking for a Sarah Harris, I have never heard of this person and they have definitely not lived here as it s a new build and I have lived here from the start. They started calling twice a day, then fizzled down to 1, stopped and started up again this evening. Tried pressing 1 when prompted and ended up with a voice mail in the back ground grrr there driving me nuts!!. I ve also never been in debt!! There must be a way off stoping these scamming idiots!!
