My phone blocked this number and reported it as SPAM no message left.
This call was a follow-up call from the Met Police after I reported a theft via their 101 non-emergency number. They repeated to me details from my 101 call, so I have no doubt it was the police. I imagine its unknown etc as it comes through their switchboard, I get the same when the wife rings me from work phone.
When ringing it comes back invalid number so I'm guessing call centre.

This number is DANGEROUS! My son with special needs got a barrage of calls from this number spoofing police calls that he got involved in a car accident on the M5, another call saying that they are bailiffs saying that they owe them £1,600. Incident reported to the police already. Stay away from this number. They hide using this number so you won’t see their phone number.
Called to say I had been in an accident, I informed them that I had actually passed away in the accident and they promptly hung the phone up - Obviously they did not want to talk to a ghost!

Just received a call. When I answered, a beeped sounded, an automatic voice said "goodbye" and the connection ended. I called back straightaway and a woman, struggling to speak English, answered, telling me she was from HMRC. She asked me to verify who I was. I replied "you called me, you should know who I am". SCAM - automated call saying I was under investigation by HMRC and there was a warrant for my arrest for non payment of taxes. Wanted me to press 1, which I didn't - can't be 100% sure but I expect they were after personal/bank details, in any case it's not a legitimate call.
2nd call in 2 weeks as per other comments. Rude and pushy female not understanding when I said thank you but I m not interested. Was about mobile account and what fabulous tariffs they can offer.
Was waiting for a call, so answered the landline. Asian gent, very strong accent, asking for my husband. Repeatedly told him he wasn t available, asked him which company was calling and to remove my number from their list as I was registered with TPS(useless, I know!).
