This number called automated message stating customs and revenue. American accent stated that I would be arrested if I did not pay a fine. Said o press 1 if I wanted to talk to someone. I hung up immediately. I know that HM Customs and Revenue do not telephone anyone. Obviously a scam

Found this number in a PBX log system. The called number is not in use. This number is calling numbers outside UK. Probably spam.
Scam - Caller said that they were from Microsoft and, over the last four days, they have received notification that hackers etc had got access to my computer. If I turned on my computer they would be able to clear them from it. When I said it was a scam, I was told that if I did not let them remove the hackers, Microsoft would have to stop any computer from being able to work from my address in the future.

But the 121 message service only catches the end of the message which asks you to press now to avoid court proceedings. Therefore this appears to be a Scam and the number should be treated with extreme caution. At no point can they tell you the address to which this scam is referring to, but the do try to get you to confirm your address to them.
