My Mum got scammed with a company called World IT pro saying they worked with Microsoft. They actually remote installed remote tracking software so they could see all her computer activity and charged her £300 for 'five years protection' - I called and complained and said I thought it was a scam and they refunded it (or it looks like they have - the money hasn't come back into the bank yet). Scam calls, usually related to Crypto. These people have been harassing me for over a year due to the previous owner of my phone number having filled out an inquiry on their website. They call from numbers generated in the UK and across Europe/Asia. The number is not in service when you try to call it back.

I answered phone but I didn't say anything and the call terminated.

They offered me a 40% discount on my EE bill. I checked with EE and its a scam, nothing to do with EE. They ask some personal questions (which i refused to answer) then send a generic email, Subject 'EE Upgradation' (im not even sure that's a word, is it) saying Welcome to EE, etc, etc. I hung up and suggest you do the same.

Amazon SCAM call phishing for your details. Automated call, apparently from “Amazon” saying I had placed an order to be delivered to a different address to mine for £749.00. The activity was suspicious so blocked my account. Logged into my Amazon account using the official app and there is no such activity.

Scam phone company posing as Vodafone. Ask them if they ARE Vodafone because they use tricky language by saying they work WITH Vodafone. If they did, they’d have your details and you wouldn’t have to give them the confidential information th et ask for. BIPPITY BOPPITY BLOCKED!
