SCAM - DO NOT RESPOND This was a recorded message saying two potentially unauthorised payments had been made on my card - one of £300 and an international payment of £1,000 - followed by the option of approving the payments or speaking to someone about them. This sounded like a scam ( there was no mention of which bank the call was from), and so it turned out to be when I checked with the bank.

I am suspicious of this phone number. The man phoning spoke good English with a strong accent and was convincing. He told me he was from AV (antiviral program) and that my recent payment of £149 had not gone through. He offered me a discount policy at £29 for the next year. Re The failed bank payment, the bank itself stopped this money and when I spoke to my bank it was decided that the £149 seemed high for an anti viral program and there was a possibility of fraud. I got a call from this number saying they from Curry pc world. They are giving unnatural offers on phones and sim cards. Too good to be true. I didn't go forward with the offer but I believe its a scam.

Don’t know who could be calling from Liverpool; no voicemail left; this site say it was searched for 11 times in 21 minutes but never before that, so I’m assuming it’s a scam.

Got a call from this number said they were from Talk Talk........I realised it was a scam so when I said that I didn't actually have a pc or laptop and that it was at work she told me to go to hell !!

Automated call Although not in my address book, number came up on my phone as being from Eastern Avenue Baptist Church and showed the address of 119 East Raod, Dagenham, Romford RM6 6YJ Automated message said I was being investigated and if I did not make contact with one of their officers, my National Insurance number would be withdrawn and then asked me to press 1 to speak to someone. Felt suspect.

They called asking for someone of a different name. I said it's a wrong number and they hung up. However it sounded very much like a scam call centre. After doing 1471 3 called them back and was hearing a recorded message about them being telly tube or telly shute. Never heard of them.
