Text saying they had my number saved in their contacts but no name attached to the number. Said they were called una and do I remember them. Can't say for certain it was a scam. But it felt like it could be a scam. SCAM
This number rang out on my phone three times before hanging up on 22/06/2022 .A similar number +94938528005 rang on my wife,s phone on the evening before and also hung up after three rings. It seems a bit suspicious to me.

Number rang me saying it was for an O2 upgrade and when i caught him out on being a scam he kept calling me back from numbers which my phone said was in random countries. O2 would not be persistent for 5 minutes repeatedly calling me from different numbers. Pushy, annoying and fake.

Checked that it was a 'safe' number but when I tried to call it, it came back unrecognised.
SCAM My wife bought in June a canvas print via the internet from the company Simly Cavas Art (03333660185). To date the item has not arrived.The company is surpose to be in Blackpool. I this is a search i made for Matalan in Newcastle upon tyne I pponed the number as i wished to speak to customer servie. A male voice spoke to me saying you have reached your credit please press one to make a payment, I dony have any credit withe matalan. I thought this was a bit fishy so i blocked the number. then i asked my husband to phone the number from his old Nokia phone. the reply was. This number has been blocked. hmmm was it a scam or what. this was my experience, I hope my comments help.

Fraud American accent, pre-recorded message saying it was HMRC and there was a problem with my tax record. Told me that in order to avoid jail I needed to sort this out immediately and had to press 1 to be put through to an advisor. Potentially very threatening for anyone who didn’t recognise it as a scam. Google search reveals that if I had pressed 1 my call might have been rerouted to a different country and I could have faced hefty phone charges.

SCAM pretending to be a BT engineer as you have an unsecured BT Internet line gets you to download software to get access to your bank details. Knows you name, landlines number, address and postcode
This number called me at 16h33 on Tuesday 11th April 2023. Man with heavy Indian accent claimed to be from Microsoft. Said I'm registered with the Telephone Preference Service so he shouldn't call me. Hung up, but he rang again and asked why I'd hung up. I said I'd already explained why, and hung up. He phoned a third time, and in a stroppy tone asked why I'd hung up. So I hung up AGAIN. For a fourth time, he phoned again. Didn't answer, and blocked his number. Obvious nuisance.
Scammers said that I was interested in trading, but it was a long time ago. Did not sound professional at all.
