This people try to get access to my computer pretending to be BT, a very poor way to get my password. Be aware of such scams.

I m ex directory & this clown rang from 0141 212 8500 speaking in an aggressive manner, demanding to know if I was Mr Harrison (I m not) I said, you ve rang me on an ex directory number, so you tell me your name first, & so it went on, until he got increasingly demanding and said he s track me down by another method. I told him, I d be reporting him to the Information Commissions Office for breaching the legislation with regards to unlawful access top my data - & to jog on! I v also blocked the number. He

Guy calls saying I qualify for a refund due to a prior overpayment and that he can help me claim it. I ask where he s calling from, he says "consumer services". Starts asking for my banking details and I have to interrupt him again to ask what company the "consumer services" relates to. He answers with Reactiv Media and the continues badgering me for bank details. I stop him to say I don t recognise the name of the company and if he could remind me what service I purchased from them. He hung up.

Claims to be from my internet providor so I said I used only phone or library for Internet use and he hung up. Then called back from an unavoidable number saying ...I m from BT and....blah blah....I said no internet here and he hung up...

Called asking for non-executive Director by name - "it s Johnny from the surveyors at Altus" were the words he used. I walked through to our Director and used the same words. Our Director said he won t take the call as he has no ongoing business with Altus and no imminent need. I returned to Johnny and advised this, to which he said "did you tell him it s a financial matter?". I responded, "No, because you didn t say it was. But he won t take the call". He persisted for a little longer before he hung up on

Indian sounding person said his name was John called claiming to be from BT and that our internet connection could be accessed and our personal information could be compromised. he asked me to go on to my computer and he will guide me through what to do. Then i Put the phone down.

Marketing Caller, polite when told I don t answer marketing questions over the phone

Finance firm been pestering me daily for over a month. Tried asking them to stop in many polite ways, now I just tell them to **********. Before anyone tells me thats illegal. Iam 72 on a lot of medication I lost my wife to cancer because our oncology unit was closed for covid use and now my daughter is going the same way. Me being abusive to a bunch of bone idle idiots sat on their asses making life a misery for others with this constant barrage of nuisance calls SHOULD be illegal.

Potential cost trap! I also had a phone call about my computer and its "harmful viruses." I said thanks but I dont have the conscience to accept help from a cold call. I felt I was putting my privacy in danger.

Same number called me today -Man with strong Indian accent calling him self Steve Johnson, siad he was from Talk Talk and that my internet was under attack - I called his bluff ...

oh, this is one of those spam calls again. scammers who have nothing else to do with their lives. yes, i got the same call, heavy indian accent, asking me to go to a website.

I keep receiving multiple calls from this number as well as other local area code numbers on both my landline and mobile. No messages are left and when I did pick up once, they hung up. I am presuming it s a telemarketer.
