01227 250421 Call 8.9. 2020; ‘Matthew’ claimed to be ringing about a government scheme for loft insulation; when asked for details, claimed to be from a company based in Oxfordshire; a question about why he was therefore ringing from a Canterbury location, was met with the response that his manager would explain when he contacted us. I replied I strongly suspected a fraud and a scam, and put the phone down. It appears to be a scam to get inside people’s houses.

this is Makeover Studios, they gave me a call and said I had won a competition for an £800 makeover and photoshoot! Paid a small £100.00 deposit which I got back and put towards artwork at the end. A little expensive but worth it. Makeup artist was a gay MAC consultant - they the best, photographer ENZO was super nice and creative - has a blast with him. Great one off experience

This number belongs to a company called Allclaim Solutions, but they might call themselves ACS. Like others on here, I frequently post things for sale on Gumtree. Today, after posting an item, I received a text from this number, asking me to contact them by email. At 8.20am I answered my land line thinking it must be important and was a local number. It was a automated message saying ‘thank you for your payment of £299 for anti virus, if any problems please call our free phone number’ The number I’m afraid I didn’t get and it didn’t say any company either. I’m sure this is a scam of some sort that they catch you when you call to complain so very much aimed at the trusting, naive or elderly.
