Rang me twice. When I picked up they said it was from Curry’s PC world, saying they had a promotions for phones and asked what phone I was using now. I said I wasn’t interested, and they hung up without saying anything else. It was quite hard to hear as their environment was loud, sounded kind of like a call centre in India. I’m not a Curry’s shopper so I doubt the legitimacy of this, probably a scam.

Fraud - Indian call centre claiming to be from O2 but hiding behind a UK number as you are more likely to answer it. Offered savings off my bill and free upgrade wanted my details to check and the one time pass code that O2 were going to send me. Its a massive fraud once they have your account info they will go on a spending spree using your details but changing the delivery address. Just hang up or do not answer.

Number came up as spam on my mobile phone so I didn't actually answer any of the 3 calls I have had so far today and this is the first time I have been called by it. Indications on other sites are that this is Opus credit (aka New Day) and it makes sense since I have an account with them and I missed a payment with them yesterday.

Caller definitely had a "British" accent (though I know there isn't just one - he was definitely a native English speaker though) but really didn't annunciate when he was speaking so I struggled to understand him. He backtracked several times when I called him out on what he was saying. Was rude, dismissive and persistent despite me keeping saying I was not interested in talking with him about my life insurance - all in all a pretty horrible experience

Received a text message from this number allegedly about a delivery by EVRI - as I am expecting a delivery (from DHL) I precipitately clicked on the link which read; EVRI(UK10094786). The man has an Asian accent and says that because I have not had any call outs for my heating within the last year they are going to reduce my monthly payments to £24.99 and then puts me onto his manager to sort out the paper work, etc. The manager comes on, he also has an Asian accent and says just to clarify things to give him my Bank sort code number. I immediately said no and hung up. definitely a scam, please do not give them any information regarding your bank details.

They asked if I was on an Android or iPhone, or to go to google on chrome to search for 'Anydesk' ( this App is for remote access, so I refused to download it,) when they realized I understood what it was they hung up.
