Claims to be from my internet providor so I said I used only phone or library for Internet use and he hung up. Then called back from an unavoidable number saying ...I m from BT and....blah blah....I said no internet here and he hung up...

Had a few calls from this number recently. a recorded message saying according to their records we re paying too much for electricity press 2 for details. i didn t press 2 as i use comparison sites to check this sort of info.

Have had repeated calls from this number over the last week or so, when answered there is only silence, no response.

Calls from 01204311988 are from Goodwin Barrett. It’s their call centre. It uses a computer program to ring your number, and if you answer, and an agent is available to talk to you they will, but if not, some hear a ‘goodbye’ some a essage, and some hear nothing. So you can ring them back on their Freephone number, using 141 to make your telephone number appear to them as ‘anonymous’ and definitely at no cost to you. Been called by these people 4 times this week .they say their a finance business looking for someone. the guy seemed nice and professional but gave me the wrong details. so i dont know if their legit or not.(i did'nt share any of my details with him though just to be safe).

They rang to say they were conducting a survey on behalf of BBC AND ITV . Allegedly to improve TV viewing. I can't see the BBC doing anything alongside the itv.

International call using this number.

Line disconnected when I picked the phone up - probably automated call centre phoning numbers at random in some kind of phishing scam. We have had a lot of these!

read on here they are scammers..all types of scams including twlling you you want tv insurance...which nearly worked on a friend of mines elderly mum..what i want to know is that this is a obvious scam..trying to exort money from people then why have they not been looked into yet ..its been going a while..i got a call today and put the phone down..then realised they have rang me half a dozen times this year..surely some one like the police or someone monitors these sites and checks these scammers out..why d

This people try to get access to my computer pretending to be BT, a very poor way to get my password. Be aware of such scams.

I also got 2 rings from this number at 2.50am this morning. Tried ringing back and was engaged. Have tried today and is ringing but no answer? Obviously unplugged phone and gone...

Called asked for Emily Simmonds. I told them that I didn t anyone of that name and that they must be operating a scam of some sort. They got quite stroppy when I told them this and eventually hung up. I ve been called several times before by different 0330808 numbers, always asking for Emily Simmonds.

2nd call in 2 weeks as per other comments. Rude and pushy female not understanding when I said thank you but I m not interested. Was about mobile account and what fabulous tariffs they can offer.
