Applied for O2 as part of a online survey and got a voicemail a week later whilst I was in an interview, luckely I put my phone on airplane mode just in case. Claiming to be BT, saying getting reports that my router/internet speed is not as it should be. Spoken English with strong foreign accent.....said something very garbled and fast followed by OK Repeated, when I told him I had not been able to understand what he was saying. Same thing happened on 2nd time of not understanding.....but this time he hung up. Suspect not BT at all.

To say that the phone number is localised to Plymouth is laughable, first an automated service saying it was a message from Chinese royal mail, then proceeded to talk in Chinese so had no clue what was being said.
Keep getting called by the number and no one answers tried calling back and just cuts out
