Someone using this phone number said they were from EE but this is a newsagents in Romford called STATION NEWS!
Just had a call this morning from this number saying therey were from Virgin media and were calling because they were getting error messages from my router so they called to fix it. They wanted me to run some sort of Exe file. I called Virgin and they are not aware of this and said my router appears to be ok. Treat with extreme caution!

SCAM This number phoned me yesterday, 15th December 2020 at 4.25 pm. Recorded voice saying there is suspicious activity hacking into your Internet and to press 1 to speak to our executive to have it fixed or it will be disconnected at 6pm. I was called by Sarah from First Call saying it was not a sales call but was ringing about a road traffic accident. She then went on to ask if I had reported a road accident. When I responded that surely she should know the answer if that was what she was ringing about she ended the call. Seems they are a bunch of chancers hoping to hit on someone who has actually had an RTA which I haven t. Number now blocked. I am TPS registered.
