SCAM Presented themselves as an online competition for a DELL laptop through The Warehouse New Zealand. They asked for an entry fee to get our bank card number, took the entry fee then 3 days later took more money. The bank transaction shows as Highgames.Online and the number +44753717396 4691792... which the first part I thought might be a UK phone number, hence my post here. Number called saying they were from the security department of my bank. No bank name was given. apparently there were two transactions going through on my card, one for Amazon and another larger sum was an international money transfer. I was invited to press 1 to cancel the transactions or 2 to confirm. Naturally I did neither.

Tried to ring my mobile saying jenny from microsoft about an issue in my pc! I told her i was recording our phone call because i know nobody from the Garstang area & i do not even own any pc or laptop She quickly ended the call Number has now been reported & blocked

SCAM - A robot voice told me that £600 would be sent overseas from my card unless I pressed the '1' key to speak to someone. Didn't say which card, or which bank. I terminated the call, then tried calling the number. An answering machine announced that the number wasn't accepting calls. Obvious scam. I've blocked the number.

Call from a SCAM gardening & landscaping firm (Tree & Landscaping Services) who send round a team (family members) who will not go away until paid large sums of money. My mother paid them over £600 for about an hour with a chainsaw cutting down healthy trees. They demanded payment in cash & took her to a bank to collect that. I reoprted the offenders to Greater Manchester police who refused to take action.

Asked me if I was having maintenance work at my residency and hang up!

SCAM claiming to be Amazon customer service and I apparently have an unexpected charge. The guys name is Peter he doesn't realise that his name is mentioned when leaving the voicemail of the automated message.

Male voice, indian accent. All I could understand was "I am calling you today......... mam". I asked him to speak slowly and clearly, he repeated the garbled content and I told him I didnt understand and needed him to speak slowly. He hung up. Sounded like a typical phishing call. Sad he hung up, I like to play them along for a while just for my entertainment and waste their time.

Fraud. Will firstly state on an automated voice it’s from HM revenue and they’re going to take action against you. Press 1 to speak to an officer etc.. foreign guy picks up asking how he can help, state they called me? And then they hang up. Absolutely fraud!
