SCAM. One of those calls about an accident I was supposed to have had in the last 3 years. They had my name wrong but still would not believe I had not had an accident. Number now blocked.
I have no idea why but I am repeateadly getting texts from this number and it says it is from Lurid Nature, the msg says thank you for being our client and if you are interested in more offers please visit our webpage. It seems they put me in their client list or so, even though , I have never bought anything from them

Fraud Received a call for numbers 07741 597 541 and 07741 457 942. The pre-recorded message asking to act immediately as my National insurance is about to be suspended and to press on to link with caller. Didn't say who the call was for, I hung up regardless. Clearly somebody hoping to scam me.

This is really McDowall Media. They have already been in trouble with the TPS. Have had several calls from them in last week.
Unsolicited nuisance calls from a telemarketing company called www.converso.co.uk. They handle several nuisance call clients, including Scottish Power. I called back straightaway and a woman, struggling to speak English, answered, telling me she was from HMRC. She asked me to verify who I was. I replied "you called me, you should know who I am". The phone rang 15 times before I answered. Sounded like other people doing similar calls in the background. Accented man, knew my name and address!!!!?? Said my washing machine warranty was expired. I bought a new one within the last 6 months so this is rubbish. Very worrying that these people have addresses too!! Frightening for people living alone like myself.

FRAUD SCAM!! This was an automated message initially asking if I'd authorised a payment for £600 to overseas. Transferred to a human who said the payment on your visa debit card, I asked which card, she replied your visa debit. I asked again which card, was told from your bank. Which bank? The bank you authorised the payment from. I said I have several banks so which one. She replied Halifax bank, when I said I don't bank with Halifax she hung up on me. Be careful folks!
