Calls my office work number a couple of times, every 3 or 4 weeks. I called them back on a withheld number and they told me they are an energy company. Personally I just think they're a cold caller.
A Asian guy called saying I have been awarded a 30% discount for being a loyal customer O2 customer. i Left O2 over a couple of years ago, so I checked the number out online while he was talking and the number was listed as a scam call, so knew it was a scam. This person claimed to be from virgin media and said he needed to take over my router when asked what my name was he hung up clearly a scam

They call you and ask you to chose an option via an automated audio. This will likely re-route your call to a premium number that they own. It is not a legitimate caller so do not answer it.

Answered call from this number. Silence for about 10 seconds then a beep and it cut off. Number blocked so hopefully won't receive any further calls.
