Caller claimed to be associated with Microsoft and wanted me to go to website at tecacytix.co.uk. I said no I would not do that until I had done some checking. She gave me the number 02081233077 to call so I could check. Did she think I was still wet behind the ears! Said no, I think this may be a scam, call me back in ten minutes. Very persistent, kept ringing and reringing when the answerphone rang in. I just left it to ring after seeing the two comments above.

This number was another used by the crooks to call today - probably to tell me my internet was about to be cut off, or that a fault had been found. I did not answer. These people are dangerous, a threat to those who follow their instructions. Obviously there must be victims who fall into such traps. Otherwise the criminals would not be spending their time calling thousands of people, using different fake numbers each day.
