If this was my bank they would identify themselves as such, and offer data to prove this. This is likely a scam, and best thing to do is hang up. Call centre call. Company claimed to be Global Marketing something. She proceeded to call me Mr William (my first name) and said they had done a search on me and found that I had been scammed (untrue) (my new isp did a search on me last week and found no trace of me online) She asked me to tell her what happened. I hung up.
Not sure, . . . they hung up as soon as we answered.

Asian voice called me claiming to be from EE, offering 40% off charges. I could see it was an Inverness number so said I didn't believe he was from EE, at which point he said I could fcuk myself! Number now blocked.
I was told that I face prosecution by HMRC for tax evasion, a recorded message that sounded remarkably like the one's that I've had from bank security and Amazon about money from my account
I did not answer. They did not leave a message. Already received 3 calls from the same number but ending in 513.
SCAM , automated message tells you that they are wanting to verify a Visa credit card transaction and to press a number if you have not authorised it. This is a known scam. So hang up if you get this call.
