SCAM A female agent called me with Mobile Phone = 07428693956 at 12:02 pm identifying themselves as BT Customer Services and Security. They said their engineer was working on the line and detected an extra IP address registered at my location. Now BT customer services never ring outbound on a mobile, plus IP addresses are allotted by the router and not by the user. Called today and left voicemail supposedly from my bank about suspicious credit card transactions, one £300 at Amazon and one £1,100 with an international currency transfer service. It is a scam - fraud office of bank does not phone and leave a pre-recorded message!

Call centre with lot of background noise, delay in acknowledging I'd answered phone. Scam call bt technical, my internet service is compromised by several people, they'll show me how to remove them if I let them have access to my devices. Don't think so!

Automated voice call said "this is your bank calling. There have been two transactions on your account this morning, one from Amazon and one from ........ for £1000.00. ...As you have no previous transactions with these companies ...press 1 to cancel, or talk to us, or 2 to...." I did not press anything and hung up. This is appears to be a dangerous banking scam/fraud.

Didn't answer. Looked it and and over a dozen reports of various scam attempts including pretending to be HMRC.
