Had a call from this number today, sounded foreign, told me my address and post code then said I have a question for you and some seconds later hung up.

phoned up about unsecured debts and then called me a liar when I told them I had none

told me that i was being given back some money i deserved. asked for my date of birth and confirmed my address. i refused to give date of birth. when i called back it seemed like a residential address. very suspicious

Persistent calls about health insurance.

As with the comments above I received two calls from HMRC saying they were filing a lawsuit against me. I was told to press 1 to speak to a case officer who had a strong Indian accent, asked me to spell my name and confirm my address (which I didnt and put the phone down).

They had the cheek to call me again - when I was busy of course - with their wretched recorded message saying it was not too late. Tried to get me to admit my name and wanted to help with my computer that had been "sending signals" of errors. I asked how they could know that as I have no computer. ( A lie but then they lied) He hung up. Don t be fooled just hang up the phone!

Barclays calling me post successful packaged bank account claim to check if I wanted to keep the package or not. Did not call the number back, instead called Barclays on a website published number to verify it before opening up any discussion, Never give out details to people on incoming calls from numbers you simply don t know are 100% genuine.
