Amazon Prim scam. Claiming to have debited my account £95.

My elderly father had a call this evening at 7pm from this number advising him that £95 was due for his prescription charges. He does not pay for his medications. I will telephone the company who owns the number tomorrow to make them aware that someone is using their number for illegal purposes.

call was an automated call saying it was from a bank and my account had been compromised - 2 amounts of money taken from sources I do not use. It didn't say which bank of what account was involved just press 1 or 2 depending on my reaction. I did nothing but thought it should be reported as it came up as a local number. This is the second call this week of this nature so everyone should be aware that these nasty people are targeting people some of who may be vunerable.

This number is a SCAM. I just received a call from a man telling me he had my file in front of him and I have some unsecured debts. When I told him that I do not have any debts he hung up immediately and didn't even say goodbye. Clearly not a genuine debt advice agency because they would never hang up in such a manner. Avoid at all costs.

I've just kept one of their team talking for 12 minutes, saving others from being called by this scam! They claim to be "Road Traffic Management" and that they can get you additional compensation for a RTA you've had. They also claim to have got your details from the MIB (Motor Insurance Database), but when pushed they claim that all they were given was your phone number and the fact that your vehicle had been in an accident in the last five years that wasn't your fault. Silent call. 30/04/21. Definitely someone at the other end. Definitely sinister.

SCAM This started out as a text asking if i was Anna. They werent sure they had the right No. I said no it wasnt. They then initiated a conversation which soon led to them asking for personal info. They gave me this No, saying it was their company No and i could join their private Whatsapp so we could exchange photos. When I started asking about what they said was their home town, they stopped replying...unsurprisingly. The No they were texting from is a deffinate scam No, so this No is likely dangerous

SCAM This number called me today claiming to be from the carphone warehouse, i told them i didn't have an account with them they proceeded to say they knew and offered me a 'good deal' i said i was happy with my supplier! I was them shouted at by the caller telling me not to ring them again, i said i didn't, you rang me then the caller became abusive telling me not to answer the phone to them again!!! Complete Morons!
