SCAM - initial recording warned my electric was going to be shut off in a few minutes. When I transferred to a "representative" it was what sounded like an Indian man. He asked my name and verified my address. Funny thing is, my electric bill is in a family members name. Insurance scam cold call twice 12.12.2022 at 12:59 and 15:19. When asked what they were trying to sell me, they closed the call. On the second occassion when I asked where they had obtained my number, they closed the call. I've now blocked.

Received call from Automated message claiming to be HMRC chasing TAX and would start legal action soon if nothing is received, press 1 to speak to an officer. Checked HMRC, portal, email and letters and nothing wrong. Appears to be a scam but cannot confirm due to HMRC not working Saturdays :/

Answered the call and heard an automated voice claiming that HMRC would be initiating legal proceedings against me. Terminated the call before they got any further. Very dodgy.
