Just had a call from this number. A man called Daniel started to waffle about interest and stuff, I asked whether this was about PPI? He said it was about insurance and the interest and carried on talking about it, I asked him once again whether it was PPI. He admitted it was, I said I didn t have any, and he (rather arse-ily) said "Well, how would you know!? It s embedded in the insurance!" I said "Because I ve never had a mortgage, I ve never had a credit card and I ve never had a loan" He hung up.

The individual announced themselves as Alpine Group but having recently received a call from another similar number last week, I told the female caller to STOP THERE! then hung up. Recorded message that my National Insurance number had been used in suspected or criminal activity, press 1 to talk to an officer to avoid accounts being suspended and arrested. I hung up. Am sure if that was the case, thepolice would have been on ny doorstep or a real person would have called.
