An automated call stating it is from TAXES / HMRC, directing me to speak to an officer re unpaid taxes??? not sure if this is a scam, but i do not have any unpaid taxes so more than likely to be a scam.

SPAM recorded call today saying they were from the bank and a payment for £700 had been made to Amazon and £2000 had been transferred elsewhere. The usual press 1 to transfer or press 2 to speak to someone. I hung up.

Automated call Recieved a call from this number threatening it was a Fraud investigation giving me a reference number then directing me to press one to get through to an agent. If I hung up and ignored the call I may end up with a fine or court proceedings.no reference as to what the call was related to? Very strange and no reason why I would even recieve such a call. I ended call without proceeding but want others to watch out for such calls as the ber search brought up nothing in terms of an organisation

This is an Inland Revenue scam. They sent me a robo-call sying I was going to be prosectuted by the Government under the guise of something I'd done associated with Inland Revenue. I wait for the someone to come on the line who asked 'How can I help you?'. I replied by saying 'You called me'. They dropped off the call.

Claimed ti be shaw cover insurance brokers Phoning on behalf of the bog 5 insurance companies. Wanting to know what my cover was and who it was being left to and that they could lower my payments and increase my cover. Asked them who they were.phinong on behalf of! Not my life insurance company ???? contacted my insurance company who conformed they do not use brokers and to always use them direct for anything

Supposedly Peter Stokes from Relief energy - calling all homeowners in my postcode area because we're paying the highest energy prices. This is a BOT, asks questions, pauses and then goes on to the next question regardless of whether you have answered and what you have said - I just said 'TPS' in case it's a genuine company and there was someone picking up the answers, but I'm pretty sure it's a scam as others think and I can't trace a company by this name, so I will now report it to Action Fraud Phishing.

SCAM - initial recording warned my electric was going to be shut off in a few minutes. When I transferred to a "representative" it was what sounded like an Indian man. He asked my name and verified my address. Funny thing is, my electric bill is in a family members name. Amazon scammer. Told me someone hacked my Amazon account and ordered a £754 iPhone. Sent me a code in a text and asked for this code. No order showed on my Amazon account nor got a confirmation email. He got impatient with me when I said that I don't trust him and asked how I can know if he's not trying to scam me. He hung up.
