They phone you just after *they* request access to your account via your phone company's website by using the "Forgotten Password" link, so that the real phone company will send an OTC (one-time-code) to your mobile for verification. These criminals then call you saying they're from your phone company and ask for the OTC that you've just received. SCAM Indian caller with poor English said they were from a company called Reclaim and a claim that I had made had been successful and they had £300 and something money ready to pay me. I told them I had no such claim and they had the wrong number and I hung up.

Call center Debt Resolution Centre having obtained information that I had unsecured debts. Obvious reading from a crib sheet and required personal information. Start of a scam / fraud beware. Now blocked.

Silent call

Declined the call because was flagged as potential spam. Then I Googled it to find out that it didn't register on Google as a known number. Super suspicious. So I'm blocking the number. Anyone wanting to contact should have my email address.

Fraud - Called left voicemail, robot voice asking for call back about a court order. Called asked who I was speaking with said HMRC. What's your call regarding, they said your tax filing, I said I don't file taxes, then he said what you don't work, not at all? I said no, I don't file taxes. Then I said what department of HMRC are you calling from, he said the tax department (I'm an accountant, there are many many tax departments). I said I didn't believe him, response from him was 'Bitch don't be rude'

I'm pretty sure that this is a scam number. It's number called me and told me that there had been a fraudulent charge on my visa number and asked me to dial 1. The number did not ask for my name. The number did not give me any digits from my account numbers. I don't hold a visa card. I did not press one. I hung up immediately. Obvious scam beware!

Automated message purporting to be from Amazon Prime stating that £39.99 was about to be taken out of my account. Instructed to press 1 to speak to a representative. Clearly, that would instigate and expensive return call… Plus they woke my 86 year old Mother who is very ill from her afternoon sleep.
