Robotic female voice stating I?ve been in a car accident. When answering the question it became apparent this was an automated voice recognition software call.

A cold call. Not unpleasant or rude, but unsure of her pitch. Offering insurance cover for my electrical appliances, based on a policy I took out in 2014!!!

Automated call claiming to be from HMRC due to fraud on 'my account' with the threat of immediately being arrested if I didn't continue with the automated call - hung up as I find this highly unlikely.

They call 2 or 3 times a day, and when i answer, i always hear a conversation going on between the people in the office, then they go silent and hang up. I called back today and spoke to a sales agent Maurice James, who said he would remove my number from their account.
