SCAM First of all said they were from Windows, wanted me to turn on my computer so they could stop the hackers who had been trying to get my personal information. They said if I didn't turn on the computer now they would block everything, stop it from working and the hackers would use my information to get access to my accounts. When I asked them to speak to someone in the house who works in IT security they rang off quickly.

Called the number and they put the phone down on us clearly a fraud from a foreign country. Called bank and blocked account from been ripped off by these disgusting evil cretins. Fraud. Got a text supposedly from GOV.UK with an https// click-in, advising me that they have identified me as being eligible for a discounted energy bill under the energy bill support scheme. Mmmm how did they know my number? why didn't I get an official letter/mmmm. No surprise really it's a fraud scam, the government doesn't text you to tell you they are giving you money,and as far as I know will never do this anyway. Why aren't they traced and shut down?
