I rang the number back it’s about PPI saying I had money back in 2019 I told the lady I didn’t receive any money and to remove me from their database She started to raise her voice asking why would they do that when I had received money! This number 07901 823 560 rang on the 26/04/2023. It was a voice recorded message, stating, for some unknown reason, that I was immediately entitled too several hundred's of pound's. I hung up immediately, as I suspected it was a Scam phone call. Thank You for Your assistance in this matter.

SCAM - A female recorded voice with an English accent said that it was a call from Amazon and my Amazon Prime subscription had just been renewed in the sum of £95. I was given options of pressing 1 or 2 for different courses of action. I did absolutely nothing and about 30 seconds later the call cleared.
Rehan Ali was recommended and everything went through smoothly. I did get confused with accessing my account as I tried to do it through British Gas online, who kept saying they did not have a record of me, eventually I twigged that I access the account through Britishgaslite.co.uk not British Gas. We are now waiting for a smart meter to be fitted. I have been given a date and a time rather than a day or half day slot, I just need to see if they turn up, but so far 5 star rating.

Exactly the same behavior as the Amazon call mentioned in another post, received this call in Brazil cellphone, cellphone also detected it as SPAM and the call dropped after answering.

SCAM - DO NOT RESPOND This was a recorded message saying two potentially unauthorised payments had been made on my card - one of £300 and an international payment of £1,000 - followed by the option of approving the payments or speaking to someone about them. This sounded like a scam ( there was no mention of which bank the call was from), and so it turned out to be when I checked with the bank.
This number called me and left a voicemail to say "please respond about this case before we take legal action"
