Automated call Recorded voice telling me I had made an international money transfer from one of my bank cards. This is the second call telling me this today, the first was from 01482354676. SCAM Automated call from "Amazon", confirming renewal of Amazon Prime for one year for £71 plus. Given options of "Press 1 for this, 2 for that." Of course I have not renewed an Amazon Prime membership - didn't have one to renew. I said nothing, pressed no buttons, and after about 30 seconds of silence the line dropped. It's likely they would have asked for my cc details so the could confirm/reverse the charge; I'll never know :-)

Fraud Call was recorded message purporting to be from Amazon and saying that payent of £399 had been taken for my order, if I did not authorise this press 1. So hung up, so obviously a fraud. Caller ID on phone showed a local geographical number, most likely that this was fake. Telecoms companies should have a way of identifying the origin of these calls and should really address this lawbreaking, ie conspiracy to commit fraud.

Have been charged for 11 calls to this number in one day and 4 calls earlier in June. I have not made these calls and have reported it to BT but they can t do anything about it until after my next bill in September.

SCAM CALLER, trying to get personal information. Made a note of time and date and reported to Actionfraud and National Crime Agency.
Called today and asked for me by name. Sounded suspicious I did not acknowledge that but asked "who is this?" a couple of times and the line then went dead. Rang 1471 to get the number and then called it back with 141 in front of it and the line; thus this is one of latest scams where to callers hide behind a false but apparently valid so as to get round call identity phones
