A survey that I supposedly took some months ago, they asked if I have ever worked in a noisy environment and did it affect my hearing, after saying "pardon" about 5 times I tried another tactic,I continually ask for "their policy number" this seems to have done the trick as I haven t heard from them in weeks now.

Said they were phoning from Virgin Media. I was suspicious so hung up and phoned Virgin Media who said it was a scam they wanted me to open a screen sharing app.

Told me to not talk to my solicitor or anybody else about the call. Called me after posting an ad on Gumtree. Used my name and car model from the ad and asked about an accident.

I have called applianceserve on 08004118899. I said I had asked for a refund of the £175 I had paid for my washing machine to cover the next 3 years following the expiry of the manufacturer s guarantee but had not received any response. Having seen comments on the internet saying it was a scam, I said if the company is genuine then please can you arrange a refund.
