This number called me also about blocking nuisance calls. Lady called Jessica. I hung up on her and she rang back rude and pushy - had the same method as above commenter.

Definitely a scam call. London numbers don t start with 2 after the 020.

Caller said they were from O2 said I had applied for a free Sim card on line. I haven t, told her she was not from O2 and to remove me from the mailing list they had obviously bought from somewhere. Sick of these nuisance calls. Number is now blocked.

Guy introduce himself saying he was contacting me as i was on a list to receive a refund due to bank charges. Birkhill underwriters called asking for my dad, asking if he had been in an accident. Wouldn t tell me where he got my details but told me he would remove them from their database. I don t normally answer numbers I don t know but did this one as the dialling code is from my town and could have been my work. Number now blocked.

Called claiming to be HMRC. Agent advised they couldn t help me without a reference number and weren t willing to check my details. BE AWARE!
