Scam- claim to be working for a company near by and came across my number ( after checking sky shield this number had been calling my phone for the last 4 days whilst I was out) . They claim to save your current BT bill ( even though I am with sky talk talk and pay for the phone ). Don?t argue with them as they get really rude. Just hang up and block them

The person calling said they were from Carphone Warehouse and wanted to talk to me about upgrading my phone (but didn't seem to know what model phone I had, plus this mobile isn't with Carphone Warehouse), but the number is showing up online as belonging to a newsagent in Daventry so be cautious as I'm not sure it's legit...

Have started calling me at least twice a day for about two weeks- they do not leave a message. If they didn t keep ringing when I am at work (and can not answer) I would answer and know who they are. Not ringing back incase it s one of those expensive calls.

Just been called from this number - thought it was a real human at first, but then realised it was some sort of semi-automated system, pretending to interact with my replies. Claiming to be Injury Claim Law - they have an interesting website, which contains a number of spelling mistakes, so doubt they are anything other than a bunch of low life ambulance chasing chancers!

UK (not sure why it comes up as Hanoi on here!) - Worldwide scam phonecall from DHL in the UK spoofing the actual DHL customer service number so it looks/sounds legit, automated Chinese voice asking you to press 9 to speak to someone regarding a parcel, then repeats the message in Chinese. More info about this scam here on a New Zealand news site - https://www.tvnz.co.nz/one-news/new-zealand/automated-phone-scam-claims-dhl-goods-you-but-all-they-really-want-your-personal-information. Block and ignore.
Missed the call. The call came in at was just before 9pm. Even (I’m not saying this is but) if this was a valued call to be made, to ring at such an hour, is a joke. I say if you think you owe money contact the company yourself. Too many scams going on at the minute to be trusted answering unknown numbers.
