I hear a recorded voice saying this is being recorded and then the call stopped.
Fraud. A person claiming they are calling form CarPhone. Trying to sell me a new mobile plan with 40% discount. They could answer a my question if they are want me to switch my provider or they have a deal from my own mobile provider. They also didn't know who my provider is but wanted me to tell then. SCAM ambulance chasers that don't even know if there's been an ambulance! Get a call from them every few days, consistent script: "We're calling from the Legal Department of MAUK" (there is a website for mauk.uk but no listing in Companies House, and the directory for the building in Reading they claim to be in doesn't include any such entity). I keep reporting the calls to ICO and TPS. You'd think the imbeciles would give up - it's been going on for years.
Didn't ring long stopped before I got to it. Read these comments won't be showering it.

SCAM A real live person, female, said she was calling from Microsoft (from a Medway number!?) and asked if I was the main user of my computer. I laughed. She insisted this was not a scam and asked what was funny. I said I was surprised this scam was still going and asked if she couldn't get a proper job. Again she insisted it was not a scam. I laughed again. She then said ok, she would block my computer. I asked what she was going to do. She said 'shut up!' and hung up.

Scammer pretending to be O2 giving "customers" 30% off their deal for being loyal and always paying bills on time. Shame that's not me, scum bags. AVOID
This was from a rude and abusive man with very poor English who claimed he was from carphone warehouse and when I said I wasn't interested he said he was also a police officer and was going to find out where I lived and beat me up, he was screaming abuse at me. This was entirely unprovoked as I am a very polite pensioner who never shouts and swears, I would recommend everyone to do as I have done and block this number.
