I didn't recognize his number and thought it would be very unlikely for me to ring a random number like that by accident. He insisted that I had called him though and he was merely calling back. Indian lady with call centre background noise called, she said she was from carphone warehouse. And gave me a iphone 15 max deal with unlimited Internet and calls for £18. Phone call received at 1105hrs this morning ( 12th April ) caller with an Asian accent introduced herself as Mary from Sky Technical support advising me that they had received several reports that my internet was causing problems. I terminated the call at this point.
Said his name was Victor and was calling from BT, having provided guarded responses to his queries he asked if I had changed my broadband internet setting from Private to Public recently and when I said No the call was ended from his side. Hmmmm...suspicious?
