Like other reviews I received text message at 4.28am (very strange), supposedly from Apple stating: "We've noticed a transaction that seems unusual , therefore we've had to place a hold on your wallet features. Claimed to be from O2 offering a 40% discount on my bill for being a "loyal customer". Did not greet me by my name. When I called her out on that and asked her to drop me an e-mail if she was legit, she hung up.
SCAM: received a text message, allegedly from my daughter, at 00.54 in the morning which was 'hello mum, this is my new number. My old phone no longer works. Can you send this number a message on Whatsapp? 07706376356.' So I did. I then checked with my daughter, who confirmed that she has not changed her phone number. I have phoned the number twice since; does not pick up but does go through to an anonymous voicemail.

I had a call from this number which I did not recognise. Although I tried to answer, the call was cut off. Do not know if spam or from a service provider such as Virgin. No message was left by them.
SCAM I believe A woman, sounding Indian, pretending to be from BT OpenReach about my internet quality We don't buy our internet from BT I suspect this was one of those "we have discovered traffic on your line caused by viruses and need to log in to your computer to fix it" scam calls. The call didn't get that far though. She hung up, probably realised that I knew what I was talking about.

SCAM text saying that Simon could not deliver parcel from the Post Office and could I fill in my details. I filled in a pile of crap and they only stopped me going further this time because they cannot count and apparently I am in London...news to me. The call came from Manchester yet again probably rerouted from a call centre abroad. I have blocked the number as always.
Called at 1210hrs. Male with office sounds in background. He spoke with an Indian sub-continent accent. Said his name was Simon and was calling to make me debt free. I asked him the time where he was. He asked "Why". I said if he did not answer the question I would hang up. I hung up.
