They rang our landline and asked to speak to the BT broadband account holder. I said I was the broadband user and then they put the phone down on me. So I have blocked the number.

This number told me my kitchen appliances insurance had expired. Told them I was insured with another company and she claimed I was insured with them. I then told her that I was called by them a few weeks ago, and told her not to ring my number again. Think they want your bank details.

I think it's a scam call. Voicemail said I purchased an I phone 12 for £398 and it will be debited from my Amazon prime account. If I wish to cancel order press 1 or call back to report fraud. I don't have a Amazon account so I'm guessing if you call back it is a premium number.

It is a staffordshire number but the staff sound like they are from liverpool

Didn't like it when i said i'll just delete my amazon account so no reason to ever call me again. people like this make me sick, trying to scam others out of their hard earned money. Phoned once. Answered it but didn t say anything. Girl asked for me by name. I made enough noise that she knew someone was there and waited a minute then hung up. Half an hour later, a man called. Joe. I said "You re coming up as a nuisance call on my phone. Why is that?". He identified himself as Joe from a company called Clear Answer working on behalf of EE. I said "I won t speak to you until you provide me with your company number from Companies House". He went quiet then tried to give me "01482489010"

Now had them call me 4 times on Saturday, once yesterday and again today. Tell me that once I answer their questions they will NEVER phone me again. Probably because I refuse to answer and of their questions. From experience if I do I get all manor of other organisations phone me.

I ve been called by this number and also 08435571598 - Scottish Power about carrying out a bill comparison . Explained we were not interested, happy as we were and to remove our number from their call list but this has obviously not happened as they still ring me nearly every day at least twice at different times of day & evening = 13 times in total since early September!
