The text had a code number that they wanted to "prove I was the account holder. I'm sorry. This is an obvious scam. They'd use that code to hijack my account, change the address, and order as many high end phones and tablets as O2 would let them. Strongly suspect fraud/scam as recorded voice from unnamed bank said unauthorised transactions had been made against my card.

SCAM. I got a very convincing text from this number but it is 100% a scam. The text said ‘ We attempted to deliver your EVRI parcel TZXXDA0732617072 today but no one was home. To avoid your parcel being returned visit: https://evri-parcelsecure.com’. The text was sent at 4am though so there was no way it was legit/they had tried to deliver that day. The link looks legit too but asks you to pay a redelivery fee.

Automated call - said there was suspicious activity in my account which is when I hung up and checked my account which was fine so I think this was a SCAM. If there had been something untoward with my account, my bank would have called me with a real person not an automated version. 17/08/22

This is a spam please careful. The number has a call waiting for customer care with American accent, very weird. Don't answer, don't call back.
