I received the number 01223933956 this morning. Claimed to be a Sean with a very heavy Indian sub-continent accent, from BT Outreach claiming there were problems with my internet. I engaged with him, to spin him along so he would have less time with more vulnerable people but when he realised what I was doing he became very abusive.
Caller says "BT Internet Depatment" we are going to cut off your phone and internet, then asks "press number 1 to speak to operative"...SCAM SCAM SCAM

CALLS FROM COMPANY CLAIMING TO ACT KN BEHALF OF O2. TRYING TO GET ME TO UPGRADE. I HAVE AN ISSUE WITH O2 GIVING OUT MY CONTRACT DETAILS TO OTHERS. DESPITE TELLING THIS FIRM I DO NOT WANT TO DO BUSINESS WITH THEM THEY CONTINUE CALLING. THEY JUST HANG UP IF I COMPLAIN ABOUT THEIR HARASSMENT. FRAUD SCAM!! This was an automated message initially asking if I'd authorised a payment for £600 to overseas. Transferred to a human who said the payment on your visa debit card, I asked which card, she replied your visa debit. I asked again which card, was told from your bank. Which bank? The bank you authorised the payment from. I said I have several banks so which one. She replied Halifax bank, when I said I don't bank with Halifax she hung up on me. Be careful folks!
