They then managed to trigger the Amazon reset password text message and pressured me to give me that code to them, presumably so that they could take control of my Amazon account. Received a call from this number this morning, i let it go to answering machine ( landline) and no message was left, then called beeped & ended. Very suspicious call I felt.

Scam - left voice mail claiming some nonsense about suspicious activity on the Northern border of Wales (nowhere near me) and ordering me to 'press 1' to talk to a legal investigating officer before they take legal action against me or my national insurance number.
This was a Scam Amazon call telling me that £95 was being deducted from my account. I confronted the caller who immediately terminated the call.
