Called twice. second time i answered. lady said it was BT checking my line and there was an issue. I hung up. Just didn't seem right.
Fraud purport to be BT openreach and after prolonged instructions on front of computer ask to download and run "anydesk" which is legitimate software but not in the hands of these con artists.

When challenged with questions such as “what bank is calling me?” The person was unable to answer and ultimately terminated the call. HMRC scam demanding you 'Press 1 to speak to an Inspection Agent immediately'. The voice is a recorded American one. You'd think they were clever enough to change it to English, but no.
They sent a WhatsApp message from "HR Recruitment" offering part time and flexible jobs. Poor gramatic, no photo. Too many red flags.
