This call was a follow-up call from the Met Police after I reported a theft via their 101 non-emergency number. They repeated to me details from my 101 call, so I have no doubt it was the police. I imagine its unknown etc as it comes through their switchboard, I get the same when the wife rings me from work phone.

Called 5 times today starting at 0740. Hung up 3 times. Spoke twice says from Talk Talk - problem with internet connection and infected with a virus

Called from this number about a purported accident I had 2 years ago. No such accident, sounds like marketing or claims recovery. Knew my name and phoned my mobile number.

Wanted to talk to me about car accident I was involved in a while ago. Needless to say I haven't been involved in an accident.

This company keeps chasing me for a debt which they cannot provide the proof. I spoke with a marktaylor who was arrogant and sounded as if he didnt have clue what he was doing and kept mumberling. Well mark you had better grow a pair and find my proof of debt before i report you to the FCA.

Said they were phoning from Virgin Media. I was suspicious so hung up and phoned Virgin Media who said it was a scam they wanted me to open a screen sharing app.

The remarkable thing is this is just one of a number of calls I ve had about a minor car accident I had about a year ago. My phone number was given to my insurance company ( a reputable company I ve always thought ) someone passed it on to these chancers. We talk about the rising menace of fraud and scams, this practise of selling on customers details has to stop. Whatever happened to the data protection act?

My number is not listed and they called my land line AND mobile! Apparently they sent me a letter, but wanted me to confirm my address. I never got anything and had never heard of them before! I told them on both occassions - they called withing 5 minutes on both lines - to take me complete details off their list and stop harrassing me or I would call the authoroties. On my question what it was about why they called they didn t answer. SCAM! They had my name.

I called this number as it looked like a number I knew.... It said, you have been entered into our free prize draw...just hope I don't get charged for calling the flipping ...
