This and another similar number called my land line and I called the one above back, as I was waiting for a call, but there was no reply Within five minutes a foreign man called back and stated I had phoned him a few minutes before. When told I was responding to a call from him, he insisted I had called him an hour ago (impossible as no one was home), and his attitude changed to verging on verbally aggressive. I hung up. Said they were from bt open reach wanted to do a speed test, told them I was with virgin and they said they were in charge of all the internet providers and they must do the test, put the phone down on them.
Phoned me 29 april /23 april/21 april and today at 06.00 2nd May. I answered but no response, some intermittent clicking and tone. I put the receiver down after about one minute I'd answered 'Hallo' but no other message identifying me.

Cons of signing up on sex sites
Hard to understand person, strong foreign accent, claiming to represent O2, yet calling from a number on the Three Network. Lots of background noise, sounded like either a VERY busy foreign call centre or an open air market! Seemed at a loss when asked for proof that she really represented O2. Possible scam.

I called this number back and linked to an answering machine which informed me I was calling Friends Of The Earth. I never continued the call so I can not say whether it was a 'safe' number or not.

This number has made calls to my number and hung up when answered. Number DISPLAYED is 01736 312007 - but actual caller is 363062. I called back and was left to answer machine.
Automated call telling me £1000 had been taken from my account for a gambling site in the USA. It then followed saying £300 had been taken to pay Amazon. Neither of these things have happened. It asked to press 1 or 3 as a follow up.

SCAM- 0128 240981 I've been bombarded by calls from similar 0128 numbers for past couple weeks. I finally answered this one today (28th October) and it was a lady with an oversees accent with echoey background noise saying she was from the National Debtline. She knew my name and kept asking me to confirm it but I didn't and I kept asking who she was then hung up when she said she was from the debtline. They don't cold call you and it's a totally different number so I blocked it.
Automated voice advising of Tesco security code. I Did not request anything from Tesco. My number is ex directory and on TPS (telephone preference service) so how do they get the numbers? They are scamming parasites.
