They would not give any information out over the matter or even give me my own door number or year of birth - my check to see if it is a cold call. I gave her a mouth full hopefully ruining her day - great stress relief people :)

Caller said they were from O2 said I had applied for a free Sim card on line. I haven t, told her she was not from O2 and to remove me from the mailing list they had obviously bought from somewhere. Sick of these nuisance calls. Number is now blocked.

Guy introduce himself saying he was contacting me as i was on a list to receive a refund due to bank charges. He asked me lots of questions about who ive had loans from and who ive had credit cards with. I said im sorry this doesn t sound right to me...he got very irritated and told me to check the number it is a recognized BT number at a registered address. Utter nuisance. Some nonsense about phone lines in my area despite Leeds being nowhere near me. Rang me twice in one day despite being dressed down the first time so they re thick-skinned, I ll give them that. Blocked the number now and suggest you do the same.

Called claiming to be from Opus Energy saying my contract was up for renewal , continued to insist he was genuine , even though I know my contract has 1+ years to run and that he was trying it on !

This number is unallocated; the call was from a scammer. These calls use spoofed numbers, originate outside the UK and are untraceable. NEVER GIVE ANY INFORMATION to a caller...
