This is my house telephone number in Oswestry Shropshire. A 90 year old lady in some distress phoned me on this number today to ask why I had been contacting her. She told me she lives in Eastbourne and had been contacted from a number purporting to be from this one asking for finacial information. I explained I had not phoned her but it was probably a phishing scam and suggested she blocked it. I feel I needed to report this scam and this number on her behalf. Scum does not adequately label these people.
Foreign accent stating my bank account had suspicious transactions. £300 on Amazon and over £1000 money transfer. Invited me to press buttons to either accept or speak to customer services. I held on and then a voice said bye! Dangerous as the number display comes up with a Ballymena number and this is my home area. Checked online bank and no such transactions had occurred.

They will remove your details if you bother to answer your phone and ask them to, rather than hiding from it and complaining on a random website like a child

Supposedly from Microsoft wanting to know if I was the main user of the computer? When I asked why he said they have been getting a lot of notices and that my security software was being corroded. Received a payment request email from Paypal for £650 with message stating "Fraudulent activity found, amount £649.99 GBP has been debited from your account for a purchase of DECATHLON GIFT CARDS, if it's not you reach us immediately @ +44-800-368-9784". As this email was directly from PayPal, i checked my account and the request for payment was actually true, however the message on the request is false and the number is fake. This number is NOT Paypal and is a scam.

Claimed to be from Council Housing Association calling about reported repairs needed to my property. I was confused and asked what he meant as I am not in a council house. The voice on the other end repeated themselves, I told them again I am not in a council property and an automated AI thanked me for my time and hung up.
This number has been searched at least 1250 times, if not more. The POLICE are aware and need to identify these scammers, so the more it is reported the better the chance of catching them. There is a new rash of SCAMMERS out there trying to get people's money and DEFRAUDING them. They must be caught and proosecuted! REPORT, REPORT, REPORT!

SCAM Say they are from Amazon asking for a verification number sent to email/text. It's a password reset code so they can gain access to your account.
Couldn't make out the company they claimed to be from, was very noisy but sounded like a foreign call centre. When I repeatedly but politely asked them to confirm who they were calling from and not getting it I was called a "stupid person". I believe they may have been claiming to be from a mobile phone company.
