Thing is i am not with BT and dont have Internet at the address that he rang me on! Numbers given me to ring as well were 0208 36 93 520 and 0137 54 12383

Called immediately asking me how many loans, credit cards I had and how many I d made payments on in the last 12 months, didn t introduce themselves nothing but had my name and tried to act as if it was a personal call, blocked their number now.

I got a call at 0920. A guy with an Indian accent introduced himself as Eric from the technical department of Talk Talk. Kept referring to me as Mr XXXX even though I m clearly female! Said there was a major problem with my router. I told him I don t have an account with Talk Talk and asked where he got my details. Automated spam from company called Red Star about a possible insurance claim. Complete fishing exercise. Had about half a dozen missed calls over a few days before I was able to answer. Looks like the number is used by other companies (possibly allied). I would advise adding to your reject list.
