Then wanted details from me !! Total scam and in breach of the rules set out by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), including specific guidelines about how they contact you. Automated call Although not in my address book, number came up on my phone as being from Eastern Avenue Baptist Church and showed the address of 119 East Raod, Dagenham, Romford RM6 6YJ Automated message said I was being investigated and if I did not make contact with one of their officers, my National Insurance number would be withdrawn and then asked me to press 1 to speak to someone. Felt suspect.

SCAM South East Asian accented gent opened with "Hello Mister (first name) how are you today?" - I knew immediately it was a bogus call so I told him to go and kill himself and then I hung up before he could reply.

Scam call. Pretends to be from O2 offering half price bills. As soon as you say you're not with O2, it hangs up. Local London number but poor quality/routed phone line.
