Automated call from Amazon regarding a charge on my account - I don't have an Amazon account.
This showed up as a missed call this morning without even ringing. No message left. Suspicious.
I answered, asked hello and immediately was hung up on

Cynical call, a day after receiving a SSE dividend, an unsolicited call from the USA about my share holding. An Indian sounding person, in a call centre, who had to asked on whose behalf he was calling. Then said it was some form of financial company. As if one would talk about your shares to an unknown person, acting for an off-shore company. Initially he was trying to make me believe he was connected to SSE.

SPAM/SCAM Over the last 4 days have had 2 calls a day from the same Manchester auto caller, just the last 3 numbers changed each call. Shows it’s from the same caller system. Have called back at the start of it but goes to electronic sound. Advice toy you if you see these numbers 01615202… then don’t answer and block it.

Call from 02034589975 the call is originating in an Indian call centre and the caller asks for name, DOB and address before telling me they've located my Vodafone account (which doesn't exist and my details were entirely fictional). The call is a scam designed to illicit bank details for a new phone contract. I would urge everyone to block this number and not give them any info at all.
The call appears to be an automated call about Amazon Prime. There seems to be a spate of these calls recently, from various numbers.
Called to ask if we had anything broken in our house, or any mould - we live in Lancashire not London!

Phoned me. Background noise suggested I was being called from an overseas call centre. Caller had an Asian accent. When I started to ask where her company was based she replied “ Manchester”. When I asked further questions she put the phone down on me. Suspicious.

Said they were calling (my elderly father who lives with Dementia ????) from Domestic & General, which then changed to Legal & General, then back to D&G, wanting to pay a £250 refund and could they just have his bank card details to check…. ???? Fortunately I was there to intercept. Called every day now from a number beginning 0208 xxxxxx. This number 0208 275 4022 today. So many scam calls now I let every call go to the answerphone and just use the mobile, this is so persistent that I called back from mobile. There was no connection, tried the other niumbers beginning 0208 received in the last 7 days - BT recording saying numbers unrecognised, Have no idea if this is a scammer or genuine - but if its genuine they are doing a poor job as you cant call back.
