I rushed to the phone but just caught one word..."Goodbye". I find it odd that it rang off so quickly. Tried returning the call, but no answer as it was busy. Scam more likely.
Called by an obviously Indian person - pretending to be calling from a spoofed Manchester number. Thus I had no interest in listening to what he was babbling on about. Not that I could understand him anyway. Something about eBay and Amazon stores. Blocked.

It purported to be from HMRC and legal proceedings have been instituted against me. Told me to press button 1 for further information. This is DANGEROUS THREATENING BOGUS CALL. A fridge was ordered from them by my friend on 23 September, she paid for the item, was givien an order number and tracking number but all is fake. Now the number is "unrecognised" when rang. Morning call saying bank card had been charged two large amounts. Card type not mentioned. Asked to press keys to accept of deny. Suggest a SCAM
TAXES / HMRC Claimed to be from "Her Majesty Revenue and Customs" about an official letter. (So many things wrong with this; American accent, mobile number, omitted 's, "her" not "his", etc.) Obvious SCAM.
Appears to be some kind of call centre. I could hear lots of calls in the background, not sure of the purpose of the call as no one spoke to me when I picked up.

I answered and they hung up. No idea who it was.
As yet I haven't received a call from this number but during another call from 01252 710611- most definitedly a scam regarding Amazon Prime - I was asked to call this London number to veryify my account. Naturally I did not . Hope this helps.

People find it hard to stay committed again. It’s becoming a difficult thing. Getting information & data you need is quite not a big deal. Sometimes the truth needs to be unveiled by whatsoever means necessary. The latter of the case should always be reckoned with, of which it would be known eventually what would be the data at hand afterwards. definitely contact Wong best Wizard would do justice on this intercepting with wares and you will have me to thank ( Wongbestwizard @Gmail.com )

This number phoned and a recorded message stated that it was my bank asking to verify that 2 payments made today were genuine and if not to press 1 to speak to a member of the fraud team. No name of bank given so I suspect it to be a scam.
